Anna grew up on Vancouver Island where she completed her BSc in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria. During this time Anna spent time with the Castaway Wanderers Rugby club and four seasons with the Vancouver Island Raiders football club as an athletic trainer.  She went on to complete her MSc in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland before moving to Calgary in 2013. Since starting her career as a Physiotherapist, Anna has gained experience working both in private practice and pediatrics.

Prior to starting with PhysioWorks, Anna worked at CBI Health where she split her time between WCB return to work programming, private practice, and long-term disability. She was heavily involved with their chronic pain program, where she gained a greater appreciation for the complexity of pain disorders and the importance of holistic care. Anna has participated in additional training for complex pain management, functional movement screening, running gait analysis, and concussion assessment. She has completed AA1: Foundations of Anatomical Acupuncture and is currently working on her certification through AFCI.

Anna is currently employed with Pacekids Programs within their Early Childhood Services (ECS) program delivering care to preschool and kindergarten aged children with special needs. Anna has a passion for working with children and is excited to further help families by offering private pediatric services in the community. Anna has had additional education in adaptive physical activity and toe walking and is able to offer both acute and developmental pediatric physiotherapy.

In her free time Anna likes to stay active and enjoys running and going to the gym. When the weather is nice she loves to spend time hiking, camping, and on Vancouver Island with friends and family.
